Hellooo....sorry for NO UPDATES for almost A YEAR!!!! I know this is really very very bad...hahaha (machiam got people following this blog like that lor!) Well being MIA for so long, I guess nobody will bothers to visit this DESSERT BLOG anymOre...*sob sob* Oooo upon revisiting here... I realised that the daddy actually written and dedicated this post TO ME about a year ago and he NEVER PUBLISH this out!!! Okie to start off clearing the spider web here, this long overdue post shall be the FIRST entry of year 2012...*LOL* This blog is dedicated to my wife Vendy Lee for successfully delivered our newborn Baby Travis in USA. Below is her happening story: On 11 Mar morning, we went to see the gynae on the weekly routine check. As she is already 39 wks and 4 days pregnancy. The gynae did a v-scan and told us her cervix is 2 cm dilation. It was 1cm dilation in the previous week as she was admitted to the hospital for false labor as she experience Braxton-Hicks. The hospital can only admit us when the cervix is 4cm. From 2cm to 4cm, no one can predicts how long it can take. It might be few hours or few days. Thus, we arrange with the gynae to have her induce on 16 Mar if by then she still have not deliver. After the checkup, i sent her home and then proceed back office to work. Later, my wife meet up with her friend and went to the school to pick up Tricia for lunch. During lunch, she felt that her contraction is getting intense and the pain is getting severe. Then they rushed back and also contacted me to go home. Again, we went to the hospital and she was put on monitor to observe whether is she going into the labor phase. After 1hr observation, the doc sent us home again as her cervix was still 2cm. However the doc told us to go back to the hospital 2 hrs later if the pain persists or get worse. We went back home and i cook a simple meal(instant noodles) for our dinner. Around 1730h, we went back to the hospital and this time her cervix was 4cm dilated. She has requested for epidural injection to relieve the pain in the process of giving birth. The nurse came in and draw some blood to check that she got no allergy to epidural. The blood result will only be out 1 hr later which mean she can only have epidural an hr later. Approximate 1820h, her water bag burst and subsequently she told me she got a very strong urge to push the baby out. So coincident that there was another lady in labour and she admitted earlier than us and all the nurses and doc are attending to her. I quickly went out of the delivery ward and went to get the nurse and doc to have a look on my wife. The doc came in and saw the crowning. Immediately he signalled to the nurses to prepare for delivery. I was shocked to hear crowning, meaning her cervix has already dilate to 10cm. And she has not yet get her epidural injection and also there is no "laughing" gas in the hospital. At 1852h, baby Travis is out. I was overjoyed as i can hear the baby first cried. And my wife, she still cannot believe that she give birth to Travis without any relieved medication. Baby Travis weigh 2.771 kg and 20 inches(50.8cm). Tricia's first handmade "Thanksgiving Door Wreath" with the help of her teachers in school. It is make up with all the fallen leaves that she picks from her school playground. Instead of hanging it OUTSIDE our main door, her FRAGILE's "door wreath" can only be hang indoor...hahaha! Its because if STRONG WIND blows, it will be GONE within a minute! *LOL* Mummy is happy to see that Tricia finally writes her ABC in orderly manner instead of randomly...*good job my gal*
This is the GROWTH of mummy's lil tummy @ week 23...1 more week to 6 months =) Just like her previous pregnancy with me, her tummy "grow very slowly"...but the good thing is she has gained back the 8kg that she has lost during her "roller coaster" first trimester and back to her normal weight now =) Still struggling to eat like a NORMAL person, especially dinner time! Jia you mummy, jia you!!! Instead of protruding tummy, mummy's figure starts to grow SIDE WAY first!
Mummy is happy that finally there's a lil "hump" on her tummy (don't know why only obvious in the night leh)...but compared to daddy's tummy hers is still way to go! hahaha! Till now, nobody can tell that she is pregnant unless they know about it...hehe! The weather is turning very cold now and mummy is so sad that she still can't fit in those maternity pants that she had bought a month ago, think gonna waste money! Never listen to the sale girl's advise, should have get a smaller size...*arghhh she thought 2nd pregnancy tummy should grow faster ma* Mummy is happy that Tricia got some "artistic" genes from her! Yes, mummy is good @ art during her school days and she loves and enjoys drawing, colouring and painting since young too =) It has been observed that Tricia has started drawing a PROPER HUMAN face (with eyes, nose, mouth, ears and HAIR) and a decent "body" (with stick hands and legs) since July...week by week you can see CHANGES in her cute drawings. And slowly picture of a girl's eyes start to have "lashes" and "nice longer" hair (mummy describe it as "ROOFTOP hairstyle"...hahaha! Simply love all her CUTE drawings and mummy has started collecting and keep the nicer ones in a clear folder for her to look at in future (",) Here we go, the following are some of Tricia's master piece that Mummy has collected... This is the first few HUMAN (or aliens?? haha) drawings that Tricia started to draw in the beginning of this year. After that she stop drawing proper picture and start scribbling again...*hiaz* And then one fine day in July this year, the daddy brought home this cheap second hand Easel Table that he found in Mountain Home's Thrift store. And out of sudden, Tricia's drawing and writing of alphabets improved tremendously after Daddy bring home this easel table. (:O) Before (This is a piece of drawing Tricia brought home from the school before she starts scribbling on the easel table) After (This are some recent art work brought home from the school) Hahaha...love the BIG BIG ears that she started added in! And then the ROUND body with STICK hands and legs... And finally girls have LONG LASHES, MORE HAIR, EYE BALLS and a lovely TRIANGULAR dress :))) Mummy loves this two pieces after hearing her explanation. Picture 1: This is Mummy (with super big ears with 2 cute flower earrings) and her favourite mei mei. This was drawn before we know about the gender for bb number 2. Picture 2: The yellow face girl (right) is Tricia and the tiny lil' baby with NO HAIR is her lil' brother...hahaha she explains that baby boy got NO HAIR! This was also drawn before we know about the gender for bb number 2. And I've asked her why did she draw a mei mei and then a di di when Mummy can only give birth to one?? She explained that because she wants a MEI MEI but her por por (my mum) wants a DI DI...think she wants to make everybody happy that's why she drew both...hahaha! This is Tricia with her ABC... Tricia and the sun... Happy Tricia sniffing a lovely flower =) Tricia's cute pumpkin and flowers... Everyday after come home from school, she will DRAW and WRITE on the board...most of the time she will write her own name and recently she will also include her surname "LIM" too! And she will goes around telling people her last name is "LIM"... Don't know why she likes to write her ABCs in random orders....but YESTERDAY she finally start writing from A to Z in orderly =))) Will upload the photo LATER when I'm done will my cooking...hehehe! Since the day that the "KITCHEN IS RE-OPEN" ,mummy hardly got time to sit down slowly to type now...*hiaz* that's explained the "spider web" scattered on this blog...*LOL* Today marks the RE-OPENING day of Mummy's Kitchen, after she had stopped cooking since early July due to serve morning sickness. She still have poor appetite and feels nausea when food comes with strong smell but at least now its much more bearable as compared to the previous few months. All thanks to her NOSE, don't know why during pregnancy her nose is always as sensitive as a dog, whatever smell is not favourable to her will trigger her to puke. Mummy is so happy she can start baking again too! And she spend the whole afternoon baking boxes of cornflakes cookies for my lil' friends to thank all their mummies who had help us out when she is under the weather :) Yes! Mummy also started taking photographs AGAIN....ya can you imagine she has not TOUCHED the camera for the past 3 months too! This also show how SICK she has been during this period...*sayang sayang* Its Halloween's Month again! Mummy bought this cute "mini" pumpkin baking cups for the Cornflakes cookies she baking for all my lil' friends. Mummy's busy afternoon while I am taking my nap...she managed to bake a total of six boxes of mini cornflakes cookies. And we went out together to delivered the freshly baked cookies to my friends that evening :) Woo...the weather is getting colder and windy at this time again! The first dish for dinner...heehee! Lazy Mummy comes out with this "Rojak" dish : stir fried broccoli, chinese mushroom, prawns and potato. Daddy is the happiest person of the day, he said that he "machiam" very long time never come home to eat a proper dinner (meal) liao...so poor thing hor! I am a HAPPY girl too! Mummy said I am actually the one who motivates her to start cooking again....because I've not been eating well too since the day she stop cooking. Daddy just don't know what I like or dislikes, he just feed me whatever he cooks... Our lunch for the second day. Yeah, Mummy finally start eating veggie, fish and prawns... She boiled ikan bilis in water to make stock to cook this macaroni soup with slice fish, fish ball and prawns. And the soup really taste yummy *slurp* ;p This is what we had for dinner tonight :) Sweet and sour potato and luncheon meat. Spinach Soup with Wolfberries using the remaining ikan bilis stock that prepared during lunch. Deep fried drumsticks. Mummy NEVER likes drumstick before she gets pregnant but now she goes CRAZY over it...haha! Lastly, presenting Daddy's favourite dish "Roast Pork"...but this "STINK" the whole house lor! This post is done by daddy. Mommy uploaded the pics quite some times ago and finally daddy complete the post today. Hi, I am doing my homework. Coloring the circle. Here is my completed homework. I just want to color the circle.
Learning to write. Start of with a. I think this is the best so far. Those alphabet that are on the left are written with the help from mommy. Those on the right are written by myself. Daddy comment : Coloring has improved alot. Managed to color within the lines. Well done.
Mummy has since stop updating on Tricia's monthly progress many months ago due to laziness...hahaha! Yes, my lil' princess has finally bid goodbye to the "terrible 2"'s days hopefully its will be a terrific 3 year old. Well, actually I must consider myself being very lucky because Tricia is indeed a very sensible girl and most would say she is also very mature at her age as compared to other kid at her age. She watch and observed before going into any action, she listens and obey instruction that was told. She is a very neat and tidy girl and will help Mummy to keep the place tidy most of the time. Haha of course there were days that she is lazy like mummy and needs alot of reminder to put her toys away neatly :p Mummy managed to train her 100% potty training when she turns exactly 2 1/2 years old (30 months). Since then she is diaper free and that save us quite alot of money...hehe! Currently we are still in the process weaning her off the milk bottle. She is only on milk bottle for morning feed and has been drinking from cup for her last milk feed before bedtime few months ago. Making her drinks from the cup takes longer time to finish that why we had been delaying switching her because every morning is a rush before sending her off school. Maybe school holidays its a good time to switch her 100% to drink from cup...hehe! And this afternoon marks another NEW MILESTONE for both Tricia and Mummy. Yes, my lil' girl can't wait to grow up and wants to sleep on her own in her own bedroom many months ago. Silly mummy actually very "bu she de" to move her out of their bedroom. *slap forehead* I know most people can't wait to shift the kid out to sleep on their own...hehehe! Tricia has been telling me "Mummy Desiree sleeps on her own in her bedroom, Jaden also sleeps on his own in his room"... Then I asked her "Do you want to sleep on your own too??" Immediately she answered me eagerly "YES, YES because Tricia is now 3 years old...a big girl already" and she gave me a dam cute serious look with her browns frown. For that moment I can see that my girl has truly grown up, oh time has really passed very fast! We've been delaying the shifting because the current room use to be a playroom for her. We need to pack away the toys to give way for the single bed, to fix curtain rod and buy a blackout curtain (almost 100% blocked out sunlight) because the sun can be very glaring during summer time. Finally, we managed to get all done by yesterday and today she can officially move into her new bedroom. She is really excited jumping up and down when we showed her the new room =) And her growth stat as at today is...(3 yrs and 5 days old) Weight: 16.7 kg Height : 102 cm A lil' growth chart that Daddy has keep track since our arrival here. Wow watch how much she has grown...from 90 cm(23 months old) to 102 cm(36 months old) Welcome to Tricia's new bedroom. (previously is a playroom) Everything looks very familiar except the snow white place-mat...hehe! Tricia said "Mummy take picture of my pretty room okie"...cheese!!! Hahaha recently she loves to ask me take pictures of her....*faint* She slept so soundly from 2pm to almost 5pm until I woke her up. If not she can't sleep in the night. A cute lil' Kai lan battery operated night light that Mummy managed to grab from Walmart sale for just USD 3 bucks. A pink colour blackout curtains that Tricia has chosen. Initially she wants a snow white princess's prints curtains...but its so hard to find snow white stuff here. A must-have humidifier in room that we are sleeping because the air here is super dry. This is Tricia's first public performance in the base youth center. And she looked SO PRETTY and sweet in her lil' ballerina dress. We were so glad and proud of her that she was not shy and totally no stage fright in front of so many people (mainly student parents and their relatives). *phew* Haha...but she don't really remember her dance steps during the actual performance, partly also because she only attended 2 classes before the recital. We were away for road trip together with Popo on the first week of April and followed by Mummy went back Singapore with Popo to attend to some emergency matters. So ended up, she only attend 1 class in April and 1 class in May before the recital. Anyway from the photos we can see that she enjoyed herself very much before and after the performance. Running round the multi-purpose hall together with her best friends from the class before the show start, screaming and yelling so loud that Mummy got to tone her down...haha! So sad that Mummy didn't manage to take a nice video this round because they never face the audience when the performance starts and she is hiding in between the girls and Mummy can't see her clearly...*hiaz* Tricia's class (age 2-4) was first to performance. Haha...the class only left with 4 survivors =D The girls went crazy running around the hall before the performance start. Tricia keep holding on to her BEST FRIEND Erin's hand while Mummy Daddy taking picture of them. Erin is also her classmate from Children's house that why they were so closed...hehe! From Left to Right: Alexis (3yo), Erin (4yo), Tricia (3yo) and Brandon (4yo). Tricia is the youngest among the group. Tricia is hyper happy for that day simply can't stop smiling! The four lil' cutie pies standing side by side for everyone to take pictures after their performance ends. Tricia's supporters, Daddy and Mummy!!! Mummy and pretty Tricia =) She loved dressing up ALOT nowadays, Mummy faint because she is only 3 years old lor and start to "ai swee liao"....*headache* Ms Rachelle giving out goodies bag and thank you card to all performers at the end of the recital. Just look at my girl, she is always standing far away to watch and never join in the snatching. Even in class when Ms Rachelle giving out stickers at the end of each lesson, she is always the LAST one to get it. She will stand far away till Ms Rachelle called her name then she go forward to take and not push or fight like the rest to grab from teacher...hehe! Mummy is so proud of her =D Mini goodies bag and thank you card.
Its Summer break, new school term will only be resume back from 16 Aug 10. Poor Mummy got to crack head what to do during this long break...hiaz~ The beansprout that Tricia's planted in school. Because of school closed everything have to bring home including this...*roll eyes* Tricia's first DIPLOMA certificate...haha! Mummy can't stop laughing when she handed me this certificate.
A lil' gift from both Mrs Jackie and Mrs Christy. Hello EVERYONE...sorry Mummy has been lazy to update photos here and FB nowadays. FINALLY, Mummy start to work again! Hooray!!! Daddy and Mummy decided to bring forward my birthday party 1 week ahead (1st Jun 10) because EVERYONE (included us) will not be in town due to the coming long weekends here. Its Memorial Day Holiday on the 31 May 10. Its like a DREAM comes true for me because I have been DREAMING that I am a SNOW WHITE princess since the beginning of this year after I got to know about disney princess from my friend in school. From then onwards, I keep pestering and asking Mummy questions about PRINCESS till Mummy raise white flag...haha! So both daddy and mummy decided the theme for my party this year will be SNOW WHITE princess. Mummy managed to got me a Snow White princess dress and a pair of glass (plastic) slippers to match. I'm super excited about this party and keep counting down till the day of the actual party...hehe! Okie here are some previews of my birthday party, mummy will be posting the rest of the photos into Fb soooon....enjoy =))) Our living room has transformed into a mini disney princess castle? hahaha! Goodies bags for my lil' guest =D Mummy's home baked pumpkin muffins. Daddy make the extra effort to print out the snow white and seven dwarfs pics to deco the plain muffins. Our home cooked dishes. Daddy fried meehoon and noodles. Uncle Meezo cooked the pork ribs =P The vain vain snow white....aiyo the moment she woke up from her nap she wants to change into this snow white outfit...*faint* The Snow White's family. The wicked queen (Mummy) and her handsome prince (Daddy)...hahaha! Snow White and the wicked queen Mummy TRYING to act cute :) Uncle Meezo, Aunty Sharmine and Desiree Jie Jie. Uncle Robin, Aunty Caroline and Tristan, Tea, Finn and Baby Summer. Tricia's favourite Aunty Cindy and Uncle Smash and Jaden. Uncle Boomer and Aunty Dawn with super shy Nyx Jie Jie and Nya mei mei. Uncle Jay and Aunty Joyce and Javen Gor Gor. Uncle Noel and Aunty Amy together with Enzo and Ekin. Disney Princess Birthday Cake. Mummy is disappointed that they do not have Snow White princess cake. Tricia is going 3 years old on 1st Jun :) All the evil daddy and mummies keep asking Mummy to pass Tricia this apple lor...and they were clapping their hands when Mummy did so! They all shouted "Orrrr the wicked witch (queen) pass princess the poison apple...*argghhh* Kids gathered to sing Princess Snow White a Happy Birthday song. Oops Tricia's kissed the fire when she tries to blow the candle...haha! Take pictures with all her birthday present on the following day...see how HAPPY she is! Tricia would like to thank all Uncle and Aunties for the lovely presents! Poor Aunty Cindy was STRESSED by Jaden to draw this PRINCESS...hahaha!
A lovely Snow White Birthday Card from Desiree =) Tricia is so tired after coming back from hospital. She fall asleep while watching her favourite dvd. Tricia medicine taken from hospital. She finished the earlier bottle that we bought from wall green pharmacy. Daddy medicine. Strong dosage given by doc. Both of us skipped lunch and ended up sleeping.

We were really glad Popo make it for this trip because she actually didn't want to come at the very last minute due to Jiu Jiu's condition. Mummy is very grateful to the person who manage to change her mind and board the plane to come and visit us. We were back to Mountain Home since last Thursday's night after all the hotels hopping and long distance travelling on the road. We all can see that Popo came with a heavy heart but was glad that she still enjoys herself despite of the jet lag, tiring travelling and constant worries of nobody taking care of Jiu Jiu back home. Mummy guess perhaps I am Popo's greatest motivation for this trip. Everyone, especially Popo was so surprised that I am still so close to her after not seeing her for almost a year. Mummy thinks that I really know how to win Popo's heart by all the lil' gesture Ive done. I shouted really LOUD for "Popo" the moment I see her out of the arrival hall, and never let go of her hands after holding them. I only want to sit beside Popo when we eat, hold Popo's hand when we walk, non-stop talking and singing (all the chinese songs) and only want to sleep with Popo in the night. All these really MELTS Popo's heart and make her felt this trip is worthwhile of coming. Popo was telling Mummy that before seeing me, Popo was so worried that I might treat her as a stranger since we have not met for almost a year. But I proven her wrong because in my heart, once my beloved Popo will always be my beloved Popo...*LOL* The followings are some of Mummy's favourite shots for this trip. Again Mummy is lazy to upload photos in FB, partly also because she is busy helping Popo to sort out all the printed out photos for her to bring home and showcase (show off?...haha) to her friends. And all the unpacking from the roadtrip and packing for Popo's luggage is not done yet... After waiting for almost an hour @ LAX airport, we were so excited to see Popo walked out from the arrival hall together with Aunty Kelly and Jenvier Jie Jie. I was so excited and jumping up and down shouting "Popo Popo" and quickly hold her hands while we walked to the car park. Day One - Sight-seeing @ LA's Hollywood's walk of fame. See how loving I am towards Popo...I give Popo a shoulder massage when she said she is tired and a warm bear hugz after I am done. Mummy thinks that I am really SUPER SWEET! Hahaha! Its SPRING time, Popo came at the right timing where all the flowers starts to blossom EVERYWHERE! Some of our precious group pictures taken @ different places we've been to.
I am so glad to become Daddy and Mummy's SILLY model...hehe! Everyone can't help smiling when they walked pass seeing me with this silly pose that Mummy make me do for her camera. And this....can see my "buay song" face right? And suddenly I start to ROAR when Mummy makes me take picture with MGM's GOLDEN LION Statue...wahahaha! I wish I were @ Paris and not just LV's strip....*wishful thinking* haha! This is both Popo and Mummy's FAVOURITE shot for the entire trip...soooo sweet right?? Poor Popo was FORCED to sleep with me for almost the entire road trip...hehe! Secretly tell you, I like to kick and punch while sleeping...don't believe you go ask my previous victims *Daddy and Mummy*! They were so HAPPY when I choose not to sleep with them...wahahaha! We spent quite alot of time on the road travelling from one location to another. I can nod my head 360 degrees when the road is bumpy, Popo was so worried I might injured my neck when I do so. So most of the time she will hold on to my head while she is sleeping... BUT sometimes she will also ENDED sleeping the same way like me...hahaha! Popo can't stop laughing @ herself when Mummy showed her this two candid shots! Thank you to Aunty Sharmine for this lovely dress/blouse that she ordered from one of the taiwan online children clothing website. So sweet of Aunty Sharmine, when she sees this cute lil' snow white princess immediately she thinks of ME...hehe!
Random pics of some of Tricia's favourite daily activities when Mummy is busy...
She was actually happily playing role play with her bb and teddy but when she caught me taking video of her she start to get cheeky and doing all sorts of funny actions...*hiaz* She loves this set of disney princess clothes that Aunty Ivy gave it to her as a present during her 2years old birthday party last year. Its still big (esp the waist) but she die die also want to wear lor...*roll eyes* Tricia's current bestie (best friend) "Brownie". This is a present from our opposite ex-neighbour, we hardly talk to them and yet the Mrs passed this cute teddy to Daddy on the day they moved out of base. Tricia name HIM as brownie because she said he is brown in colour and because brownie is not PINK so she said he is a BOY...wahahaha! She loves wearing sunglasses with him and ask Mummy to take pictures...hehe! *My silly gal* Shopaholic in making...*faintz* She likes to drag big bags small bags and pretend act busy walking around the house. When asked where is she going? She will replied "Mummy I going TARGET shopping"....wahahaha! Yeah! Finally she is not afraid to dirty her hands, that what her teacher Ms Christy secretly told Mummy the other day. She managed to get her do HAND PRINT PAINTING and was surprised that Tricia never pulled away her hands anymore when she tries to paint on both her lil' hands. Its a kind of lil' achievement for the teachers, they were so happy that Tricia has finally overcome the fear of getting her hands dirty...hehe! Perhaps all the home painting activities that we've been doing these days does helps after all...*hooray*
Haha this is the latest activity that she did just this morning...lining up all the stools and chair (with all her bbs on top) in the living room while we were busy in the kitchen. When ask what is she doing, she said "Mummy Tricia and bb sit on a bus"...hahaha! *She is so cute* In another 4 mOre days we will get to see Popo again after missing her for over 10 months. BUT...Popo doesn't seem keen coming leh, that what Mummy felt after talking to her over skype earlier on. Popo is super worried of Jiu Jiu because he has been coughing for months and haven't get well. After seeing a specialist @ TTSH and get a X-ray done, there's a patch thing appeared on one side of his lung that might be the cause of the non-stop coughing. Jiu Jiu will be seeing the specialist again, one day before Popo's departure. Now praying that its nothing too serious or else I guess Popo wouldn't have any mood for this trip that we all been looking forward SO MUCH to...hiaz~ After the earlier on conversation with Popo, Mummy is terrible moody now...sob sob With from Daddy... Toshiba pink mini netbook, so SWEET right Mummy finally got to own a PINK lappy now and she can brings it out to Macdonald to surf net while waiting to pick me from school. Its a kind of reward to Mummy for being a hardworking wife/mummy for the past 10 months here, because everyday she has to cracks head to think and source for recipes to cook nice refreshing dishes for both Daddy and me. Mummy finally own a PINK netbook of her own now...*super happy* Its small and compact easy to bring out! Ms Rachelle announced that 2010 Dynamic Dance Recital (concert) will held be on 27 May 10 (Thursday) at 6.00pm in the youth center gym. We were told to go online to purchase our recital costume. Arrival of my costume through mail. So pretty!!! Mummy was glad that she never order the child toddler's size, because this XS also look very small on me...(x_x) Cheeky me modelling my costume without removing my pyjamas before bedtime. Look! Finally Mummy can tie pony tail for me!!! Mummy I am a BIG girl now, I can go to the toilet independently without any help from the teachers in school now! Ever since I started going school from 1st Nov last year, mummy got a problem with me "opening my mouth" to tell the teacher that I need to go potty. Most of the time I will just wait for mummy to fetch me then I go, so sometime if mummy is slightly late there will be a HIGH chance that I wet myself...*sigh* Mummy is happy to know that since 1st Mar (I start school daily), I can go potty in school independently without any help from the teachers. Ms Christy was telling mummy that I pushed her out of the toilet when she wants to help me...haha! True enough just the other day when Mummy (as usual) accompany me to the toilet after picking me @ the playground, I tell Mummy please go away when she follows me into the toilet...the following day mummy bring along the camera quickly take pictures of this historical moment...*LOL* Mummy is so glad that she don't have to worry whether I go potty or not anymore. Feedback from both Ms Jacky and Ms Christy, now I can go toilet on my own whenever I need to go. Anyway the practice here is, the teacher WILL NOT ask whether do we need to go potty unless we tell them. They wants us to learn to tell instead they keep checking on us. Mummy like to announce that I am now officially potty trained for both day and night. While at home, I can go toilet independently without Mummy keep on checking on me now. Except for poo-ing, Mummy still needs to clean up for me other then that I will just go toilet on my own whenever there's a need. When outside, I will tell mummy I need to pee and she will brings me to the nearest toilet. If there's a long queue and I am urgent, when we ask the ang mos politely most of the time they will let me goes first instead joining the queue at the back. So far I did very well for all the long road trips too, I will follow mummy to the toilet whenever we stopped for toilet break. As for the night time training, it still abit tough for both mummy and I. I still need to drink 180ml of milk before going to bed (mummy already adjusted the feed to be 1 hour before my bedtime). And my lil' bladder is still very small so I can't hold my pee all the way, got to wake up at least one time in the night. So for now, its either I wake up in the middle of the night to tell mummy I needs to pee or mummy will wake me and carry "half sleep half awake me" to the toilet before she goes to bed (if she sleeps very late). Its getting better as compared to the previous month with the accident rate (bed wetting) goes minimum now (*finger crossed, NO PANTANG okie*). But then once a while, accident still happens especially when both mummy and I very tired...its either mummy can't hear I calling her (and tired me goes back to sleep when mummy got no response) or I am too tired to wake up. Well, overall Mummy thinks that I have a very good start and did very well so far although I still have accidents happen on and off. I am a happy girl because Mummy keep praising me "Tricia well done, please keep it up okie*...(",) Mummy was actually quite worried when she first see the school toilet, because they don't have a toilet bowl that built specially for toddlers like us. They just put a small stool below for us to climb on the seat using both our hands support on the side. As I grow more confident (and also taller) now I can go up myself without any stool. After business done I will flush the toilet after putting back my pants. And I will go to the tap to wash both my hands and dry them with hand towel and dump them into the dustbin.
